What to Expect
The Goal
Our goal is to please God, not the world. Everything we do, we do to glorify God. Additionally, there are many things we don't do, because those things don't please or glorify God. We strive to be the church Jesus bought with his precious blood (Acts 20:28), no more and no less.
The Atmosphere
Every church is different in the order of their worship. As a visitor, it helps if you know what to expect. We strive to do everything "decently and in order" (1 Corinthians 14:40). As a visitor, you are our honored guest. You can expect to receive a warm and friendly welcome. You are free to give if you please, but money is never solicited from our visitors. We care about your soul, not your bank account.
The Church Services
We meet for Bible study on Sunday at 9:00am and Wednesday at 7:15pm. These Bible discussions are open forum where comments and questions are encouraged. You may participate as much or as little as you would like. These studies usually last about 40-45 minutes.
We meet for a Worship service on Sundays at 10:00am and 6:00pm. During the worship service times, we sing hymns (Ephesians 5:19), pray to God (Acts 2:42), honor Jesus’ death by partaking of the Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7), give as we have decided in our heart (2 Corinthians 9:7), and teach God's precious word (Acts 2:42). These services typically last about an hour.
