DIRECTIONS TO OUR MEETING PLACE
We are located at 94-1233 Waipahu Street, Waipahu, Hawaii 96797. Waipahu is located on the Leeward side of the island of Oahu, about 15 miles west of downtown Honolulu. Directions are as follows:
From HONOLULU and WAIKIKI, take the H-1 freeway west to exit #7; this is the Waikele/Waipahu exit. At the end of the exit ramp turn left on to Paiwa Street, and proceed to the 5th traffic signal to Waipahu Street.Turn left at the traffic signal onto Waipahu Street and continue through one traffic signal (at Mahoe) and go to the next side street on the right named Peke Lane. (You will see our building on the right side of the road, directly across the street from the August Ahrens school playground.) Turn right onto Peke Lane and then right into our parking area (on the front lawn) or find a parking place along Peke Lane.
From the KANEOHE BAY area, take the H-3 freeway south through the mountains toward Pearl Harbor.Take exit 1A (toward Pearl City) to H-1 freeway westbound.Take the H-1 freeway west to exit #7; this is the Waikele/Waipahu exit. At the end of the exit ramp turn left on to Paiwa Street, and proceed to the 5th traffic signal to Waipahu Street. Turn left at the traffic signal onto Waipahu Street and continue through one traffic signal (at Mahoe) and go to the next side street on the right named Peke Lane. (You will see our building on the right side of the road, directly across the street from the August Ahrens school playground.) NORTH SHORE, TURTLE BAY RESORT area, go to HALIEWA, go south on Kamehameha Highway to WAHIAWA. After you pass through Wahiawa, take H-2 south to exit 1B to H-1 westbound toward Waianae. Once on H-1, you will get off the first exit – exit #7; this is the Waikele/Waipahu exit. At the end of the exit ramp turn left on to Paiwa Street, and proceed to the 5th traffic signal to Waipahu Street. Turn left at the traffic signal onto Waipahu Street and continue through one traffic signal (at Mahoe) and go to the next side street on the right named Peke Lane. From the WAIANAE COAST, take the Farrington Highway (toward Honolulu), which will eventually become H-1 east to exit #7; this is the Waikele/Waipahu exit. Oahu has a mass transit bus system called TheBus. Its route #43 from Ala Moana Center passes our meeting house with a stop at Waipahu Street and Peke Lane. Also, route #432 from the Waipahu Transit Center has a stop at Waipahu Street and Peke Lane. You can get more route and timetable information from TheBus at 808-848-5555 or online at www.thebus.org
